Hello my friend,

Do you know gratitude can be the fuel that will make you your first $5,000?

Whew, today is not for money tips!

I am writing a heartfelt letter to you for all your support and love for me all through the year.

I really don’t know how to start, but I will start like Shakespeare. Lol.

When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile. As the year 2023 draws to a close, take a moment to reflect on the blessings that this year has brought you. Though the path of freelancers me and you is often unpredictable, be grateful for making it through another year doing work you love.

Oh, this is the final newsletter of 2023.

Before we dive into the new year ahead, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to you, my friend. Without your loyal support, encouragement, and community, this newsletter would not have been possible.

As fellow solopreneurs, we all understand the isolation remote work can bring. I hugely value my subscribers for walking alongside me on this journey of tips, inspiration, encouragement, and more all year long. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I also want to encourage you to take a moment and thank God for sustaining you and giving you the gift of another new year ahead. Despite the ups and downs we all faced, He continued watching over us all. 2024 lies right around the corner, brimming with new opportunities and blessings in all areas of life and work. Trust in God’s perfect timing and faithfulness towards you in the year ahead.

As you prepare for a new chapter, take some time to celebrate your wins from 2023, no matter how small. Making it through the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship is reason enough for celebration!

Pat yourself on the back for landing new clients, mastering a new skill, maintaining work-life balance or meeting other big goals. Even if the year held setbacks, be proud of getting through them with resilience and courage.

Gratitude and self-reflection go hand in hand when wrapping up the old and gearing up for the new. Set aside dedicated time to reflect on key learnings, victories, relationships formed, and knowledge gained during your journey through 2023.

Consider crafting a gratitude list of standout moments and blessings from the year.

-What clients or projects brought you the most joy and fulfillment?

-What was the biggest lesson failure or adversity taught you?

-Who encouraged you along the way?

Purposeful self-reflection allows you to process and acknowledge all you have gained, mapping out what to carry with you as fuel and inspiration for the road ahead. It also helps highlight areas of potential growth for your business and self-care in 2024.

Maybe you need to set better boundaries regarding work hours next year. Or invest more consistently in skill development. Perhaps begin prioritizing diet, exercise, sleep or mental health buffers to prevent burnout.

Honor all you achieved this year while thoughtfully planning goals and habits that support continued success into the future.

As 2023 draws to a close, I hope you are able to gift yourself the grace of self-care through gratitude this holiday season. I am so proud of all your hard work and determination to thrive as an entrepreneur. Get excited about the open doors 2024 will bring!

May blessings overflow in the coming year as we walk together in continued encouragement.

Yours every season,

Ibrahim Kazeem.
