Hello, my people,

How have you been?

I know I didn’t do well by not informing you before I went silent. Trust me, it wasn’t intentional. The last few months have been hectic and demanding, draining me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Between preparing for and writing exams, I’ve had to focus more on my new business while mourning the unfortunate closure of the logistics business we worked so hard to build over the last year. My social media followers will have noticed that I haven’t been my active self for the past couple of months.

In the midst of all this, I want to thank those who reached out to ask what’s going on and those who encouraged me not to give up. You all inspired me to come back. This isn’t just a newsletter; it’s a community of people who care about each other. Thank you sincerely for showing you care and value what I do here.

Enough about me!

How have you been handling the issues around the country? I hope you are finding ways to cope with the inflation and that it isn’t affecting your relationships.

If you are protesting, please stay safe.

If you’re not, don’t criticize those who are. It’s everyone’s right to decide how they want to express their grievances as long as it’s peaceful.

How’s freelancing going?

The market is tough right now, but better days are coming. Despite the downsizing, many people are landing new roles or starting their own agencies to connect directly with clients. I’ve always said in these newsletters that if clients aren’t recruiting you, go and meet them where they are and pitch!

2024 is flying by. How are your goals shaping up? I hope everyone can look back at the end of the year and feel proud that they gave it their all.

Starting next week, we’ll return to our regular newsletters, and I have new things for us to learn and grow.
